Game Reviews

  • The kids really enjoyed this first foray into mystery parties. The adults want me to throw one for them! Since this was for Hannah's birthday and she loves horses more than most things I know of, we had to choose this particular mystery kit. I'm excited about playing more of the games. The only comment that could be construed as at all negative is that most of the kids couldn't really solve the mystery, because the main culprit is not a guest at the party but only someone spoken of. I think this made it difficult for them to consider this person as a suspect. One of the guests is an accomplice, and that part they guessed. Overall it was a fun experience for these kids, mostly aged 10 or 11. For us as parents, it was pretty easy to handle--the only difficult part was finding 20 places to hide clues! We all really got into it, and had a great time. Thank you for offering these parties--it makes for a fun night!

  • The girls had a great time playing this mystery. It ws a bit easy to figure out, but they were on the upper end of the age range suggested for this game (13 years old).
