This game is designed for beginning and intermediate sleuths with only three suspects. The game is played in rounds. Game for both men and women, some characters can be either. Includes instructions for modifying game to different size groups and additional party ideas.
The party was GREAT! Everyone came in costume and had a great time. Only 4 out of the 24 of us actually picked the murderer. We played the letter bomb game, the murder version of pin the tail, and we did the coded phrase game where you have to find your partner with the other half of your secret phrase. Thanks for your help. You have a good thing going and we will all highly recommend your site and product!Walt R. - San Francisco, USA
Great mystery! Our suspects were wonderful at acting out their parts. The voting was split three ways. All had a good time. I'd recommend it.Diane P.
The party went extremely well. I picked this one because there was such a wide variety of characters to choose from. I had no expectation of using more than half of the characters, but I knew I needed more than the typical 8. Turns out I ended up with 24 adults in character of 27 outlined in the game! The murder mystery part turned out well. I used the script for the business meeting (roll call, minutes, treasurer's report, introduction to the crime), then led the meeting with open-ended questions for anyone to answer. I had people playing the suspects, so they fought to prove their innocence in a splendid fashion. In the final vote, it was surprisingly even (of course, I knew who did it, so I thought it was pretty obvious he was lying!), with 8 or 9 for the actual murderer and 7 or so for the other two. Fun game, but be aware that a lot of planning is needed to make the game work for the crowd you are particularly working with.Hilary W.
Thanks! Worked well for my party...Christopher H.
What a fun night! We went through the game slowly taking breaks between each round. We played stick the pig wich was a lot of fun. Everyone was in costumes and played parts extreemly well. None of us knew what to expect however by the end 5 out of 9 of us chose the right killer. I'll be back for another one. Thanks!Shelly H.
We had the time of our lives! It was wonderful.Alison
We played this mystery for last year's Halloween party and it was a total success. We also played games in between sessions like, target practice w/ home-made blow guns using "straws & q-tips" it was a blast! This year we're getting another Mystery from y'all and I'm sure it's going to be just as memorable! Thanks!Roxanne
