A Recipe for Disaster and a Dish Best Served Cold.
The story
The finale of 'Cuisine Clash' is being broadcast live to millions. As Chef Julian Vane reaches for his signature silver tasting spoon to sample the final dish, he suddenly gasps, clutches his throat, and falls dead onto the marble countertop. The studio doors are locked as the police arrive, leaving the remaining chefs, the producer, and a sharp-tongued critic to figure out who poisoned the master of the kitchen before the final credits roll. Amidst the smell of truffle oil and panic, a web of embezzlement, ruined reputations, and secret histories begins to boil over.

Questions
What makes 'The Final Course' a standout adult murder mystery game for a dinner party?
This murder mystery dinner party game stands out by blending the high-pressure environment of a Hollywood TV set with a delicious mix of thriller and comedy. Unlike a generic mystery party, 'The Final Course' places your guests in the middle of a live 'Cuisine Clash' finale where every player—from the 'Mad Scientist' chef Kenji Ito to the influencer judge Zara Zand—has a hidden motive. It’s an immersive murder mystery game that turns your dining room into a high-stakes cooking competition where the only thing on the menu is betrayal and a 'Recipe for Disaster.'
Is 'The Final Course' appropriate as a teen murder mystery party or is it strictly for adults?
While 'The Final Course' is marketed as an adult murder mystery party due to its sophisticated themes of professional sabotage and embezzlement, it can be easily enjoyed as a mature teen murder mystery game. The 'Hollywood/TV' theme is highly relatable for younger audiences, and the comedic elements keep the tone from feeling too dark. If you're looking for one of the best murder mystery games that combines the drama of reality TV with a clever 'whodunnit,' this script is a recipe for success, whether you're hosting an adult murder mystery or a high-stakes teen murder mystery party.
How easy is it to host this murder mystery party theme without a professional TV studio setup?
Hosting this murder mystery party theme is incredibly simple, even for first-timers! You don't need a professional kitchen or stainless steel appliances to bring the 'Cuisine Clash' set to life. Our murder mystery party kit provides all the cues and clues you need to transform your home into a Los Angeles studio. Simply add some bright 'stage' lights and kitchen props like tasting spoons, aprons, or even a 'sharps' container. This murder mystery game kit is designed specifically for 6 players, making it an intimate and manageable mystery dinner party that feels like a big-budget production.
How many people can play?
6 to 14 players. The 6 main characters are included for $29.95; add up to 8 more at $7.00 each ($43.95 for 8, $71.95 for 12, $85.95 for 14).
Can a large group play?
Yes. In large group mode some guests play the characters and everyone else joins detective teams, up to 200 people. Large group mode comes with a Non-profit or Business license.
Do I need to print anything?
No. Guests get their characters and clues on their phones, and the host runs each round, the accusations and the reveal from the Game Room, with narrator audio and a TV mode. A printable kit is included if you prefer paper.
How long does the game take?
About 2.5 hours, played over several rounds, usually alongside dinner or drinks.
How soon can I start?
Straight away. The game appears in My Games right after checkout, where you can send invitations and assign characters.
