Where HR goes to die and the punch is definitely spiked.
The story
The final day of the mandatory team-building week at Apex Compressed Air Solutions is usually a blur of tepid coffee, trust falls, and forced icebreakers—but this year, the pressure in the room has reached a lethal high. As the staff gathers in the training lab to present their final group project, the sudden discovery of VP Burt Brickman’s body—neatly pinned under a fallen cutaway by the cubicles—sends the team into a tailspin of finger-pointing and heavy silence. With the facility on lockdown and the local authorities delayed, the employees must sift through technical spec sheets, flagged expense reports, and petty inter-departmental rivalries to find the killer among them. Amidst the corporate jargon, sequence-timing debates, and awkward group exercises, a dark secret lurks in the maintenance logs: who among this dysfunctional crew hated the boss enough to permanently shut down his system?
Setting: The dreary, fluorescent-lit training department of Apex Compressed Air Solutions during a budget-restricted mandatory team building week.
