Add your venues and rooms, book each performance of a game, and place holds while a customer decides. Pro warns you about double-booked rooms, set-up and teardown overlaps, and groups that are too big for the room.

Staff every event

Keep a staff list with skills and availability. Assign a Game Master, a cast member for each character, and your crew. Each person gets an email with their call time and can accept or decline in one click.

My Shifts and calendar feed

Your staff see every shift in one place, add them to Google, Apple or Outlook calendars, and get reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before their call time.

Detective Teams for large groups

Your cast plays the suspects and every guest becomes a detective, alone or in teams. Detectives question the suspects, study the evidence on their phones and make their accusation at the end.

Your Game Master runs the night

The Game Master you assign gets the full Game Room controls for the event: rounds, clues, accusations and the reveal. You don't have to be there.

Pro costs nothing. You only buy the games you run, with a Non-profit, Business or For-profit license for hosting events for organizations and customers.

How it works

  1. Create your organization and add your venues and rooms.
  2. Add games to your library with a Non-profit, Business or For-profit license.
  3. Invite your Game Masters, cast and crew.
  4. Book an event, assign your staff and confirm it.
  5. On the night, your Game Master runs the game in the Game Room.

What does Host-Party Pro cost?

Pro is free. You pay only for the murder mystery games you run, with a license other than Personal for each game.

Which license do I need to host murder mystery events for customers?

Any Non-profit, Business or For-profit license lets you schedule Pro events and use Detective Teams. Selling tickets to the public, when it arrives, will need a For-profit license.

How do large groups play a murder mystery?

With Detective Teams, your cast plays the characters and every guest is a detective. Detectives can work alone or in teams, and each detective or team makes one accusation at the end.

How do staff accept or decline shifts?

Each assignment email has Accept and Decline buttons that work without logging in. Managers are told about declines and about anyone who has not replied 48 hours before the event.

Can my staff add shifts to their calendar?

Yes. Every staff member has a private calendar link that works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook, and they get email reminders before each call time.
